Mt. Kilimanjaro Climb

Join us for an incredible adventure to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak and the world’s tallest free-standing mountain! This eleven-day expedition will take you through incredible montane environments found nowhere else on earth, you’ll stand atop the roof of Africa (one of the famed seven summits!), and do it all knowing that you are helping build schools and break down barriers to education for vulnerable communities in Tanzania.

High School Student Trip
May 31 – June 13, 2024
Africa School Assistance Project offers an exciting community service opportunity for high school students! Our 13-day community service adventure to Tanzania combines a week of volunteering to build a school in a rural village with cultural field trips to explore and enjoy the beauty of this unique place. Students work hard, enjoy the sights and experiences of Africa and finish their trip with a safari into one of Tanzania’s most iconic game parks! Students will be chaperoned at all times and will receive 50 hours of community service credit towards graduation requirements or for college applications.

Friends and Family Trip
June/July 2024
ASAP volunteers for this trip are families with children, groups of friends or single adults, all of whom want to experience the beauty of Africa while building a legacy of education for hundreds of children. And, Tanzania is the perfect place to add on a safari in some of the best wild animal preserves in the world! Volunteers for the Family & Friends Volunteer Trip are required to pay their own travel expenses, including a fee for the week in the village to cover local transportation, supported camping, three meals a day and bottled water. We also ask that each volunteer donate or raise funds to help support our school projects.
