Idetemya Ward
Bulolambeshi Primary School
When ASAP first started working in Idetemya Ward (2014), Bulolambeshi Primary School served nearly 1000 students and did not have any working toilets or access to onsite water. In partnership with Engineers Without Borders (Denver Professional Chapter) we’ve since built new, safe, handicap accessible toilets that include rainwater catchment and handwashing.
EWB and ASAP are currently planning to construct a second set of toilets and ASAP plans to renovate and expand classrooms in the near future. Bulolambeshi Primary has also received school desks; teacher support/training; COVID-19 and school water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) education and support; and more!
