One of ASAP’s first partner schools, Kirenga Primary School, started as a one room school that was struggling to be built by a community many of whom live on an income of $1 per day. Since 2009, ASAP has helped Kirenga build a four-classroom school building (complete with glass windows, desks, and books), then a second building with three more classrooms, a soccer field, a school kitchen, toilets, rain-water catchment, safe water cisterns, and provided COVID-19 resources and support.
