The public school system in Tanzania requires each community to build its own schools.

These are often rural villages where households live on less than $2 (USD) a day, making school building an impossible task. This means there are not enough schools and those that do exist are often dilapidated, unsafe, and overcrowded. This is where ASAP comes in.

Alongside partner communities, we employ local contractors to build or renovate high quality schools where every student has access to safe, quality learning environments.
