Perched on a hilltop overlooking the Momella Lakes (Arusha National Park) and at the base of Mt. Meru (Mt. Kilimanjaro’s little sister) lies Miririni Secondary School. The school’s first two classrooms were built entirely by the Miririni villagers to provide their children with a secondary education which was not accessible before 2008. In 2009 ASAP partnered with Miririni to construct an additional four classrooms and has since provided COVID-19 resources and educational material support.
