A safe, inviting, and well-stocked school is the first step, but at the end of the day that’s just the building.

For quality education and learning, we need quality teachers. Unfortunately, teachers in Tanzania don’t always receive the support they need to excel at their profession. They are often underpaid, under-resourced, and undervalued, as in many other parts of the world.

To empower teachers, we provide a wide-array of additional training, the resources they need to be successful, and on-campus housing. We also operate a teacher incentive and recognition program that rewards the very best teachers at “Teacher Appreciation Days” – district-wide celebrations that aim to elevate and honor the teaching profession in Tanzania.
