Kupanda Project Manager

Lida Ndalima is the driving force behind ASAP’s Kupanda Project for Girls. As the Kupanda Project Manager, she ensures the succesful implementation of this groundbreaking initiative that has propelled girls’ secondary school completion rates from 4% to an astounding 96% at Idetemya Secondary School.

Lida oversees and ensures the delivery of safe housing, personal support, academic resources, leadership, entrepreneurship programming, and scholarships for nearly 150 Kupanda scholars. Beyond her role, she finds joy in reading, watching movies, singing, and sharing quality time with her loved ones. Her belief is simple yet profound: transforming one girl’s life has a ripple effect, creating positive change throughout the community.

Lida’s Motto: “When One Girl is Transformed, She will Transform hundreds more, and the Circle will Continue.” This ethos drives our mission to empower young individuals, particularly in underserved regions.
