Who we are

The Africa School Assistance Project (ASAP) is an international NGO guided by Boards of Directors in both Tanzania and the United States, and powered by a global team working across borders to support Tanzanian leadership and community-driven change. Our structure is intentionally designed to reflect who we are at our core: collaborative, globally connected, and rooted in Tanzanian leadership and ownership.

Local leadership. Global reach. Lasting impact.

We believe the barriers to education in Tanzania require global partnership to create significant impact at scale. By uniting Tanzanian leadership with international solidarity and resources, ASAP delivers lasting change that empowers girls, strengthens schools, and uplifts entire communities.
